OIG issues advisory on dental services

The OIG has issued a fraud and abuse prevention advisory about dental services.

The advisory outlines how marketers may try to get you or your children to visit a dentist even if you do not need to see one. Marketers often target Medicaid beneficiaries or the legal guardians of children with Medicaid benefits. The advisory explains how to spot a potentially fraudulent marketing scheme, and what you can do to avoid becoming the victim of one.
