OIG audit finds compliance deficiencies

The OIG conducted an audit of LogistiCare Solutions, a Texas Medicaid managed transportation organization, to determine if it met contract requirements.

Information contained in LogistiCare’s transportation management system indicated that selected transportation services for Medicaid recipients were appropriate, and the transportation encounter data was accurate.

Issues related to Demand Response driver logs, ITP mileage reimbursement forms, and LogistiCare’s management of complaints are detailed in the full report.

The OIG Audit Division offered recommendations to LogistiCare which, if implemented, will correct deficiencies in compliance with contract requirements.
